This project is a part of my graduation project done with studio Wari Watai for the client Asian Paints and was exhibited at ColourNext 2017 - an annual colour forecast for Indian interiors. It has been awarded A+ grade.

At its heart, Parched is a surface that appears as a shimmering water body from afar, but upon closer inspection, reveals a strikingly distressed texture - a stark reminder of the harsh reality of our drying water resources. Shot silk, acid etching and burnout techniques are used to create a patchwork of silk and cotton, each piece crafted to evoke a sense of urgency and intrigue in the viewer.
